91°µÍø is a two-year community college, located in rural DeKalb County
Illinois. Founded in 1968, for over 50 years 91°µÍø has been providing educational opportunities
to the local community. The 91°µÍø district encompasses 31 communities with a population
estimated just over 100,000, with six public high schools.

Accreditation
91°µÍø is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and officially
recognized by the Illinois Community College Board and Illinois Board of Higher Education.
Nine other institutions offer additional accreditation or recognitions of specific
programs at 91°µÍø.
91°µÍø will offer six Fast-Track training programs during the Spring 2025 semester. 91°µÍø Fast-Track programs provide students with the expertise needed to meet local workforce demands. The programs range from 8-15 weeks, allowing students to immediately start a career or build upon skills with additional training.
91°µÍø will host three upcoming information sessions for high school students interested in the Early College Program or Engineering, Math & Science Academy (EMSA). The information sessions are open to current high school sophomores and juniors along with their parents/guardians.
